This is an official blog of Snake Crane Wing Chun Athletic Association a non profit organization with headquartes in Hong Kong .Purpose of this blog is to share information and follow  work and of Snake Crane Wing Chun practitioners all over the world . Snake Crane Wing Chun Athletic Association is a nonprofitable organisation based in Hong Kong with representatives  all over the world . Our goal is to not only to spread the beautiful art of Snake Crane Wing Chun  , we put our efforts  to introduce the ancient martial culture and customs which are still preserved ,in their original form without any changes as an important part of  of this ancient martial style , due to its specific history . We stand for positive values ans strongly encourage a spirit of mutual understanding , brotherhood and cultural and knowledge exchange among wing chun community .

Snake Crane Wing Chun is an ancient  yet effective combat system forged in the turbulent times  of Taiping rebellion among  the group of best fighters from "Red Boat Opera Troupe"  .It is a complete system with empty hand forms , san sik ( short forms) , weapons -butterfly knives and long pole, wooden dummy form and several different chi sao platforms. Unique characteristic of this style is its qigong system . Unlike other wing chun systems , qigong in Snake Crane Wing Chun is not incorporated additionally from some external sources , it is ,in fact ,developed specifically for this system  and it is ​inseparable part of the forms and training system .Snake Crane Wing Chun is "window in the past" , due to its specific history , the style remained  unchanged since the time of its creation . Kept in secret within Law family members through generations there was no interactions with other wing chun or any other styles so the original content of the style from 1850's stayed intact .
